EMA is primarily dependent upon donations from individuals such as you to
accomplish this mission. With the current hostile environment from the
right our fund is experiencing challenges in raising money. We need your
help.
EMA has an all volunteer board of directors whose function is to fundraise
and oversee that distribution of the money raised. We keep operating
expenses at a bare minimum to maximize benefits to the women we help. We
have no salaries or office overheads. We
can proudly say that approximately 95% of the money we collect goes directly to
services.
EMA works in conjunction with 4 other abortion funds in Florida. We
share the expenses of high cost terminations and the costs to help women who
live in areas of the state where there are no abortion funds established
to assist them.

Assistance is given only to patients with critical need.

Referrals are accepted from all accredited social service
agencies.

All requests are screened
and medical and case histories are verified.

Each applicant is expected to pay some portion of the
cost of her abortion. In some cases, the contribution is very little
to none.

No funds are given directly to the patient. The cost is
confirmed in advance, and funds are paid directly to a licensed provider
when the procedure is complete.

Patients are given contraceptive counseling and birth
control after their abortions.
EMA is a 501(c)(3) not for profit corporation.

life and interests reflect our mission of helping women. A Tribute Gift reflects
your affection or admiration for a friend or family member and furthers our
work. A special card will be sent to the honoree or the family of the deceased

a legacy gift.
Please consider
remembering EMA in your estate plans and become a member of the Harriette
Glasner Legacy Society. In honor of the 35th anniversary of the founding of EMA
by Harriette Glasner we are establishing the Harriette Glasner Legacy Society.
Members are those who have included EMA in their estate planning so that their
passion and commitment to reproductive rights lives on. This can be in the form
of inclusion in a Will or Living Trust, purchasing a charitable Gift Annuity,
making EMA a beneficiary of life insurance or an IRA. Please let us know if you
have made any of these arrangements.

Help us expand our database of potential donors by doing research and database
entry. Have a house party to introduce your friends to EMA. Other areas you can
help include Grant writing, Clinic escort, Event planning etc. We will match
